Daniel Tosh is hilarious, but if you are looking at this you probably already know that, as I contemplate his fresh level of popularity dictates that no one could procure his DVD on accident/through recomendations etc.

It has been said a couple of times already, but this DVD re-hashes a lot of the cd material, only with rushed deliveries (it killed me the diagram he altered the down feather bit on the DVD), and so to an extent you can originate the case that the cd is the diagram to go.

But the extras on the DVD, while not substantial in quantity, are Astonishing. From self depricating cracks during a photo shoot, to a itsy-bitsy Q&A with some fans (watching these people try to be humorous for him is a riot in itself), and then finally topped by an ingenious rip on Dane Cook.

But while the extras are substantial, they also report my biggest regret about the DVD. I believe his CD, I watched the special (which was an editted, carve down version of this reveal) premier. While I bask in the unusual material, hearing the F word etc. after seeing the outtakes it is apparent that a lot was left on the cutting room floor. Maybe this is an unreasonable ask (or objective that of a psycho fan), but why? I loved watching him bust on audience members, camera men, the staff of the club etc. I can understand why you don’t want that allotment of it on Comedy Central, but why not include the whole reveal, completely uncut, on the DVD?

Oh well. This DVD is a fine steal impartial because the best stuff in the prove didn’t form it onto the Comedy Central gash (the whole bit about Recent Orleans for instance), and for the aforementioned reasons. Yeah, it could have been better, but I am peaceful gay to have it.

I’ve seen Daniel Tosh on Comedy Central presents, bought his album, then saw him live in Chicago in April. There’s unruffled LOADS of material on this special that I hadn’t heard yet. After everything, he collected has me laughing off my chair.

For me watching CHUCK at the beginning of each week increasingly became one of the high points of my TV watching week. They could have named this one the Fugitive II and gotten away with it. There was a limited lack of originality, but the spectacular cast pulls it off. Overall the movie was suited. Tommy Lee Jones does a incredible job and Robert Downey, Jr. was memorable as well. The laughable relief was a must and was appreciated as it helped counterract the wonderful suspense level demonstrate. I deem I will add this one to my collection.

In 1993, Warner Brothers studios released an incredibly successful movie called “The Fugitive” starring Harrison Ford and Tommy Lee Jones, and based on the hit TV series of the same name. 5 years after the success of that film, the WB decided to release a semi-sequel/spin-off to the film focusing on the further exploits of the character of U.S. Marshal, Sam Gerard, played by Tommy Lee Jones. It was surprising that Warner Bros. wanted to peep this supporting character further, in fact it was fair as surprising that they felt there could even be any chance of success with having a sequel/spin-off to a movie that was completely self-contained. But, the decision was made and Warner Bros. actually managed to re-sign Tommy Lee Jones, along with the rest of the actors that comprised his new crew of deputy U.S. Marshals, and adding Wesley Snipes and talented, yet disturbed actor Robert Downey Jr. to the mix. The cast for the movie was terrific. Tommy Lee Jones was wise to return to the character that won him the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor 5 years prior. I enjoy that ever since this movie, and even “The Fugitive” for that matter, Tommy Lee Jones has essentially played this same character in every other movie he’s been in (with the exception of his role of Two-Face in “Batman Forever”), and peaceful manages to entertain audiences with the same valid performance. The supporting actors that comprised the rest of the U.S. Marshals were objective as pleasant, if not better than they were the first time around, especially Joe Pantoliano who was given noteworthy more mask time and injected several bits of humor to lighten things up throughout the movie, while composed delivering some really dramatic scenes with Tommy Lee Jones. The additions of Robert Downey Jr. and Wesley Snipes to the cast were very proper choices as both are accomplished actors who handle both drama and action very well. Sometimes in sequels or spin-offs the modern cast members tend to stick out a miniature bit because they are replacing a cast member that didn’t return, so their performance seems to be a small too noteworthy like the person they are replacing instead of making the characters their have. In this instance though, both current actors do agreeable jobs of making their characters their beget, and rapid diagram the audience in to their aspects of the narrative.

Even though I felt Warner Bros. had made a mistake in making this film, Stuart Baird and company managed to reveal me execrable, and I must say that I completely enjoyed “U.S. Marshals”, and that it was a top-notch sequel/spin-off to the equally impressive film “The Fugitive”.

2) Yu-Gi-Oh: The Perfect Collection (henceforth called TPC)

What’s the dissimilarity? Well, several things.

1) TCFS is listed on Amazon, TPC is not.

2) TPC is the modern, uncut episodes, dubbed by a foreign distributor. TCFS is an edited plot, attach out by 4Kids Entertainment in the US, with some violence and language removed, and also has different voices than TPC’s dub. You can peruse several reviews here complaining about the scenes gash out in TCFS. The reason why this was done is that TCFS is a Kid’s version, TPC is the novel adult version.

To me, this is one of the best Jet Li movies. Or, may as well call it one of the best movies. It has a lot of humor and wisdom in it. However, as someone jokes that dubbing is the eighth sin, the dubbing in this movie, possibly to match the lip movement, has the script modified. The humor was lost, as well as the wisdom. I compared an Asian release with the US release: the script as well as the English subtitle are modified in the US release. I highly recommend this movie to you, except that it may be best to fetch the Asian release. I also checked that my Asian release has the English subtitle which is very terminate to what the actors and actresses say in Chinese. Also one thing about the US release is that the song is taken out from the movie. We usually regain a French song or Italian song in a foreign movie. How approach we don’t gather a Chinese song in a Chinese movie? The recent Chinese song is very superb to the events of the movie. My advice remains: the Asian release of this movie probably can give you more enjoyment than the modified one.

This movie is superb. The fights and unrealistic and stylish, and the memoir is superb. But there is no excuse for what happened to this movie. We live in America. We are one of the most diverse nations in the world. The localizers of this movie seem to consider that Americans don’t know anything about, and don’t care about, Chinese language and culture. As a result all the unusual language and music has been slit, and there is only a spoken English version. This is inexcusable, especially for a DVD release. I have no pickle with a dub, but on a DVD you MUST include both. It is a noble movie, but on principle I will not give it a passing grade on this element alone. I bought a DVD player so I would not have any problems getting the subtitled version of a movie, and then they pull this crap! Please do not relieve dub only releases. Please go to … the auctions amazon and gather a DVD of Tai Chi Master. This is the Chinese version of this film. It will have English subtitles. The image quality is worse, but to have the just language and the dependable squawk of Jet Li, it is worth it.

I’ve never written a review in my life, and at the waste of my comments some readers may say they can peruse why; nonetheless this movie compelled me to part my plan. A graceful cinematic portrayal of Winston Churchill’s service as Britian’s Prime Minister during World War II. Brendan Gleesons performance as Churchill is excellent, capturing not only his physical attributes but his careful notion provoking bellow of vocabulary as well. The casting of Roosevelt and Stalin is much, you would declare you were a glide on the wall at Yalta. Janet McTeer as Clemmie (Mrs. Churchill) is the epitome of a top-notch British wife, friend and confidante to the Prime Minister. Iain Glen’s role as King George VI is as royal as the monarch himself. Historically true and brilliantly written. From the Parlimentary debates to the valid war footage and Churchill’s relationships with his cabinet, war ministers, family and the King. A astronomical film, inviting and informative. KBO-HBO!

I objective finished watching “Into The Storm” and could not be more appalled by what I saw. Firstly, on merely technical matters the film is terribly edited as it continuously jumps between the events of the Second World War and the days before Churchill’s loss in the 1945 election for Prime Minister unprejudiced after the war ends, while giving very limited historical context late the events that it depicts. Secondly, it is poorly acted as Churchill is portrayed as a crotchety, frail, pig-headed, bullying, war-monger who enjoyed war and did not want it to raze, cared slight for the men under his charge, did not designate the advice of his military advisors and fellow MPS, and treated his servants and his family particularly his wife, with disdain. (Not to mention that the acting itself by all alive to, feels inauthentic, and not believable, as if the actors are playing caricatures, rather then sincere people.) Thirdly, the filmmakers even go so far as to imply that Churchill was as awful as Hitler in his conduct of the war by filming a scene in the House of Commons where a Labour MP makes that assertion, and by showing Churchill reacting indifferently to the bombings of German towns, sanctioning the killing of German civilians, and presents the bombing of Dresden as being on the same scale as all of the horrors that the Nazis perpetrated on the world.( Mind you, I’m aware that the bombing of Dresden was a reprehensible act, but it does not even approach finish to the horrors wrought on the world by Nazi Germany.) Fourthly, it implies that Josef Stalin,-one of the most vile men in history- had more obliging sense when it came to fighting the war then Churchill when they have discussions about the it during the Teheran and Yalta Conferences. Fifthly, it diminishes his speeches by showing him giving them in a dinky context by either simply rehearsing them or cutting off memorable sections for example his line about “man’s finest hour.” Finally, and maybe most importantly, there is nothing admirable or beneficial about Churchill as none of his purported warmth, humor, decency, fabulous eloquence or charisma are even touched on. In short, he is not seen as the huge man that with the abet of others saved the world from one of the most contaminated regimes ever loosed upon it that threatened its very existence.

Shame on the people who made this! I hope that any money they made from it is burned and I cannot occupy it received Emmy Awards!

So, therefore I say DO NOT ruin your money by purchasing this historically incorrect, badly set together film that desecrates the legacy of one of the indisputably wonderful figures of the Twentieth Century.

If you long to scrutinize right representations of Churchill and World War II, see: “The Gathering Storm,” ” Then There Were Giants,” “The Winds of War,” and “War and Remembrance,” they do it justice.

I am at a loss to understand how after releasing such an incredible film as “The Gathering Storm” in 2002, HBO-A network which often releases favorable movies and specials- could follow it up with this vile allotment of filth.

With three classic releases that would appear on any tote board, it would be easy to call International Velvet a longshot which can be dismissed. But like Seabiscuit, getting past a fast initial witness will net a racer with the will of champion.

Released in 1978, director Bryan Forbes tackles the sequel to National Velvet with a interested peruse on a compelling script. Nanette Newman (a grown-up Velvet) and Tatum O’Neal (her niece) are astounding in their roles, with the storyline centering on the niece striving to become an Olympic-caliber rider.

Sir Anthony Hopkins portrays a archaic trainer who has seen many riders boast about such goals, but demolish up falling away when the going gets difficult. He has a special ogle for talent, though, and there objective may be recent potential with this young rider.

These are four movies which families can devour together, but the life lessons can be appreciated by adults, as distinguished as children.

I bought this DVD for only one movie on the DVD. I have been looking for “International Velvet” on DVD for years and haven’t been able to score it as I have the first “Velvet” movie and wanted the second. This was the only device to find it. I actually watched all four movies in succession and loved every one of them. It’s genuine family fun with a bit of suspense thrown in. I actually enjoyed the whole thing, and though I usually like to recall my movies separately I enjoyed this group of movies immensely.

Quite simply one of the greatest war movies ever made. A top notch thriller loaded with action, espionage and double crosses, “Where Eagles Dare” is the kind of movie that Hollywood honest doesn’t construct anymore. This isn’t some politically lawful drama steeped in reality. No, this is friendly guys vs. awful guys. This is pure unabashed fantasy which keeps the audience on the edge of its seat. This is unprejudiced darn first-rate entertainment!

Richard Burton is absolutely cunning as the British agent who leads an elite group of soldiers unhurried enemy lines and into a seemingly unpenetrable German castle to rescue an imprisoned American General. A young Clint Eastwood is the only American on the mission. Clint is his usual frigid and aloof self. However he, like the audience, isn’t certain who to trust. Somebody’s a double agent, but exactly who is anyone’s guess. Don’t anguish about figuring it out, impartial sit abet and delight in the drama. You’ll fancy the growing tension and suspicion between Burton and Eastwood.

The dash into the castle is classic heart-stopping drama. Even better is Burton’s fight with a German soldier high atop a ski choose — truly one of the most riveting action sequences ever filmed. Bullets are flyin’ and bombs are blastin’ throughout. In the waste, heroes emerge while inappropriate perpetrators procure their unbiased due. Classic, absolutely classic!

And yes, as several reviewers have eminent, the radiant scenery and magnificent cinematography in this film would greatly support from a widescreen DVD treatment. So, how ’bout it, I want my DVD!

This movie, filled with drama, action, and a complex space that will effect your head scuttle, has it all. Richard Burton is dashing as the wintry plotting secret agent who is leading his team on a mission to assign D-Day from distress. Clint Eastwood, here dinky more than a teenager, is amazing as the somewhat befuddled American army ranger who cannot figure out why he is even on the mission.

Any attempt to go into detail about the epic would extinguish some of the fun. Suffice to say that you will be riveted both by the action and the performances. One ticket though, Burton’s monologue is astonishing.

If you like WWII movies and have not seen this one, you don’t know what you are missing.
