An absolutely incredible package. I was lucky enough to get a pre-release copy and I will be ordering 2 more to give my Dad and my father in law. Any American who thinks these are rough times should watch this piece, read the unbelievable booklet and take stock of what true hardship is. I had no interest in this subject matter and yet i couldn’t stop watching, reading and listening. Breathtaking…
During my first view of this DVD I was surprised to see someone who I think is Elizabeth Gurley Flynn in the episode on the textile strike. Other sources say that she was there in 1934 as well as every other important labor dispute. If so it is an excellent and rare clip of the woman who is at the top of my list of most admired people. Anyone watching please take note of this dynamic woman.
